The installation of the activity cabinet is divided into two parts: installation before leaving the factory and installation after unpacking.
First, let’s take a look at the pre-delivery installation process. The so-called pre-delivery installation refers to the procedure in which the manufacturer assembles and packages the drawer locks after all components of the mobile cabinet have been fully assembled. The installation of drawers is a highly complex process that must be carried out by skilled technicians. During installation, it’s crucial to pay close attention to the following points: the gap between drawers should be uniform and consistent; the drawers should slide smoothly and effortlessly when pulled; and the noise level must meet the product’s specifications—each of these factors is of utmost importance. In addition, the installation of the locking mechanism involves precisely positioning the lock rods. Since steel mobile cabinets typically come equipped with three drawers but usually feature only one lock, special care must be taken during installation to ensure that the lock rods are correctly positioned, thus avoiding situations where certain drawers cannot be locked or opened. The quality of the installation can be confirmed through repeated testing.
In addition, after the main unit has been installed, please take note of counting the accessories to ensure that subsequent installation work proceeds smoothly. These accessories mainly include keys, a stationery box, drawer dividers, bottom wheels, and screws used to secure the bottom wheels.
Next, proceed with unpacking and installation. After unpacking, the installation process will primarily focus on debugging. Start by installing the bottom wheels. When installing the bottom wheels, be sure to check whether the drawer is locked—make absolutely certain that it is securely locked. If the drawer is not locked, it could slide during rotation, posing a safety hazard. The bottom wheels can be either swivel wheels or wheels equipped with brakes. Typically, wheels with braking functions are installed at the front—that is, on the side of the drawer facing outward.
Due to the bumps during transportation, the positions of the drawers and locking rods may have become loose. Therefore, we need to readjust the gaps between the drawers and the positions of the locking rods to meet our usage requirements.
